• ensure that there is real buy-in for the strategies that emerge

SEELS Support Package (SSP) is a programme of support for managers, staff and young people in developing an effective strategy for improving communication, relationships and organisational processes across the school.

Emotional Literacy Strategy Development Package (ELSD) is an intensive programme of work with staff and students to transform the findings from SEELS into an effective whole-school strategy for improving:

• management ability to communicate
• staff opportunities to reflect on their practice
• young people’s capacity to learn
• young people’s capacity to work reflectively
• the organisation’s’s ability to tackle difficult behaviour in a proactive way
• general commitment to sustaining the process of improving the environment for learning
  

Both packages are designed to achieve the maximum impact with the lightest possible input. Improvements are more likely to be sustainable if we work with a school or organisation for between three and five years.
